The Roll Up in 4 Steps

The Roll Up In 4 Steps - Part 1 has all a beginner needs to progress towards the fully lying beginner version of Roll Up.


1. Seated & Knees Bent

Goal: understanding hip rotation and spinal flexion

--> Hip Rotation Just to the Sacrum

--> Walking Hands Down

--> Going all the way down to the Mat


2. Shoulder Girdle Stabilization

- What is the shoulder girdle? It consists of 3 bones that make up one structure. The scapula, clavicle, and the humerus (arm bone).

* Name of the game: Plug & Unplug

* Oppositional Energy/ Opposing forces: Now this part may be tricky to understand if you're not tuning in keenly so l I encourage you to reply and understand this foundational concept of opposition!

3. The full Beginner Roll Up From lying down on the ground

-Put it all together, grab a buddy to help you out and give it a try!
